Chocolate Graphics Capital Region franchisees Gwen Cloutier and Catherine Stanish were on hand to witness Moffatt’s win in D.C. “It was sweet to see Emma take the gold,” Cloutier said. “We look forward to seeing her take more gold medals this year! Emma certainly personifies the focus, dedication and integrity that our company embraces.”
With her finish time of 1:59:46 in Des Moines, Moffatt not only took the gold medal, but also triathlon’s biggest cash prize of US$200,000. With these last two strong finishes, Moffatt, a native of Brisbane, Australia, now sits at the top of the Women’s ITU World Championship series rankings. Her next races will take place in Europe, beginning with a race in Kitzbühel, Australia and followed by races in Hamburg, Germany and London, England. John, Taylor, President and CEO of Chocolate Graphics, will be on hand for Moffatt’s European races.
